Why do people act crazy in church?

it depends on the church really several of the churches i went to they would worship god through not only song but dance as well. Plus it makes it more entertaining that way, and shows the lord they are happy to be in his presence.

What church do you go to? It sounds like the church for the drunk. I’ve never seen people so active during a mass. Usually they just zonk out and pretend to be awake.

i dont attend this church but Jewel City its not a bad church i was just surprised.its a good church with the preaching and the singing its just some of the things were like holy cow!lol

haha.. i guess people dancing and screaming in a church would seem strangee. it’s different from what I usually see.

Some churches don’t do that and some do. It’s all about worshiping God. They’re happy, they’re cheery, they’re there to give it ALL to Him. He is our creator, our King. We SHOULD be happy to be in the house of God. We SHOULD sing and shout and praise.

Now I’m not talking about running down the aisles and jumping over pews, none of that… But as for being happy and shouty for the Lord, yes.

Lol it depends on what you mean by crazy. Like, at my church a few people yell during our praise and worship time, and a lot of people raise their hands, a lot of people shout amen, we burst into spontaneous applause if we really agree w something…. We’re all just filled w the Holy Spirit and just connect w God. Its all about how you personally relate w God…some people yell and shout to Him, and some people connect better in the quiet time they spend alone w Him. Its different :)

im not religious at all cuz i grew up with 2 relgions and refuse to choose 1 but seeing ppl loose themselves in prayer or in any form of meditiaion and finally reaching tht specail momment that means the world to them is such a beautiful thing.
