Why don't people just accept what I like?

Everyone who is different has to go trough this, best thing to do is ignore it and let it go and let them be imature. Don’t start any drama, because usually now when you stand up for yourself is fighting. So it’s not worth it. Just soround yourself with people eho accept you for who you are and who will collect that stuff with you and have fun doing it, when you have good friends around you who care and everything, it’s like those people who judge you don’t even exist.

People are taught to be judgmental in nature. I get judged by other things, i.e: different clothes, music, etc. You ignore them, that’s the best way. And as a side note, it’s actually very common for fourteen-year-olds to do that stuff so whoever’s makin’ fun of you can shut their mouths…

Assassins creed rocks! most people around me like those games…and when do they call you a noob? because on video games thats pretty normal…but when your talking to people in real life its weird…

Simply because they are sheep who have followed anything and everything popular or what would be considered normal their whole lives, generally due to the way they are brought up and taught to be by their parents and peers. In short they would most probably love to be themselves but can’t as society has decreed that they are normal and they are far far too scared to do something that their own narrow minded friends may not like. Enjoy being yourself and at your age you should be mindful that things like someones opinon can have a huge effect on how you see yourself and how you grow up. Be yourself and enjoy being yourself.
