Can penicillin and steroids affect a pregnacy test?

Last time I had Sex I wanna say was the 13 of July. I took a test from walmart I wanna say the 18th before I started 2 medications which were pencillia. And a low form of steriod (I have consistent strep throat and have to have surgery to get my tonsils out as soon as its gone. The first test was negative but I’m still showing g some symptoms that arnt affects of the meds. I finished the steriod about 2 days ago but still need to take pensillian a few more days. Is it ok to take another test? Ik pensillian is ok for pregnancy but the steriod worries me so I wanna try and get it all figured out asap. Please help?

Before people start posting a bunch of premeridal sexxx stuff or I’m to young id like to say my parents are aware, I am on depo shot, and we use a condom everytime. Also because of the depo I don’t get periods but once ever few monthes so I cant base it off periods.

YES

steroids do, they are hormones and what the doctor should have done is actually take you off the depo shot before giving you the SAID (steroidal anti inflammatory drug)

The problem is not just this, but your hormones are also out of whack, the depo shot should “regulate” your menstruation not make you miss them :O

here is what you do:

  1. Go to another doctor, this guy is a fool
  2. Go to another gynecologist, If the first one didnt notice the constant irregularities in your menstruation he/she is unreliable
  3. Thyroids, go check them!
  4. Do a hormone test, I’m afraid the steroids might have messed up your levels and that is bad

Well its actually a side affect of depo to stop getting periods and to only get occasional spotting so I know I’m responding right to it(I’m partly on it for medical reasons to) the steriod was to help my tonsils go down but they said it was a very low dosage so about how long should I wait for it to be out of my system?
