What are tips for piercing my own belly button?

I’m going to peirce my own belly button. Yes, I know it’s a pretty dumb idea but there’s almost no way I’m going to be talked out of it. So, I was wondering if anyone out there had done it and maybe had some tips or something they’d like to share so I (hopefully) don’t hurt myself.

I pierced my only belly button once I had to get surgery because I pierced through something and It got infected and made a huge hole im the skin covering my stomach the infection got inside and into my bloodstream and I almost died

Piercing your own belly button really is one of the stupidest things you can do.

I can nearly 100% guarantee it WILL get infected, you WILL do it improperly, and it WILL look stupid.

It takes a very long training period to become a piercer–what makes you think you can pierce yourself?

do you have a hallow needle? because the ring wont fit if you use a regular needle.
