Answer #2

nope

Answer #3

It’ll be perfectly fine if you get it done PROFESSIONALLY. It’s your body so it’s your choice. Just whatever you do DON’T DO IT YOURSELF! Seriously, you’ll regret it if you do… it’ll only lead to problems.

I have my nose tongue and a bunch of piercings in my ears.. and im no where near a ‘rocker’. and im having a baby soon. I dont think these piercings classify at all at what kind of mother I will be. I know a lot of people with there nose and labret pierced that wouldn’t be in the ‘rocker’ category. I work in a childrens clothes store and I see plenty of mothers with piercings, especially their nose. their kids are well behaved and dress nice, so they don’t seem to me like bad parents. 20 years ago it probably wouldn’t have been a good idea, but now its so common I dont think many people would think twice about it. I’ve even seen grandmoms with their noses pierced haha.

and even if you are going for the ‘rocker’ image, I know plenty of parents that could fit into that category and are amazing parents.

Answer #5

It wont hurt anything its not like ure child is gonna care but he might pull it out I say go for it it will only hurt you and that just a lil bit lol

Answer #6

yea I wouldnt get them both at the same time.yea I wouldnt let him touch them, dont want to get hurt lol

Answer #7

I dont think so a mother shouldnt look like a person thats a rocker!! lol but I dont think its a good idea because they will try and grab your ears and whatever and your piercings could get infected but I wouldnt do it

Answer #8

Hmm if you want to pierce, just go ahead. Make sure that when your child grows up you let him pierce too :) ! Haha.

Answer #9

A mother should not look like a rocker? I’m a mother - and I would probley fit the description of rocker with my makeup, clothes, piercings, and tattoos? Does that make me any less of a mother - not at all.

Answer #10

If you want to then why not? If your worried your son will tug on it then I wouldn’t bother about that. If he was a toddler and running about playing havoc then yes it could be a problem but at that age- you will be fine.

Tip- getting both done at once will be a pain to clean ( with just one you have to clean 3 times a day). Maybe separate them between 3 months. That way one might be healthy and healed by the time you get the next :) good luck

Answer #11

If you get it done professionally, it’s perfectly fine.

Answer #12

I don’t see why you having a child matters. I have a 7 month old, and I have 9 tattoos and 7 piercings.

I wouldn’t not recommend getting 2 piercings at once though. Get one, and wait 3 months and get the other one done. Do not let your child touch your piercings either - little kids hands are full of germs and it can cause an infection .

Answer #13

its only a good idea if you dont do them yourself

Answer #14

Thats the thing dekakr- why do people STILL associate piercings with rockers and “hard men” ? It’s the 21st century; it isn’t like that anymore. Everyday people get piercings now not just “rockers”.
