Would you pay $60 for a sweater if you were absolutely in love with it?

I don’t think I’ve ever been, or ever will be in love with a sweater, but if it’s something I think I’ll get a lot of use out of, then sure … as long as the quality is good and it doesn’t fall apart after one wash.

Sure. I once paid $500 for a sports jacket I loved even though I was a starving college student making < $10k/year. My wife finally convinced me to get rid of it since chances are that I’ll never be my college weight again and skinny enough to wear it. Think value rather than price. Will you get $60 worth of use and enjoyment out of it?
