how do i tell my parents he is 17?
ok i am 14 almost 15 and my bf is 17 i told him that he was 16 because i thought he was but now i know he is 17 i told my mom but not my dad i told him he was 16 but they dont know we are dating they just think we are talking and when he comes over to meet them then we will tell them we are dating but how should i tell him because the last guy i was talking to was 17 and my dad said “what? why the hell are you talking to a 17 year old?” but he still let us talk. so how should i tell him? because i really like him and we have been dating since 1-19-13 and i feel like there is just something about this person like none of the others.
If you’re pretty much 15 and your boyfriend is 17, I see no problem with that. Just straight up tell your dad that you just found out that he is 17 and that you are bringing him over to the house to meet him and your mom. He should appreciate your honesty and appreciate the fact that you are going to give him the chance to get to know your boyfriend.
