can you be paralyzed from a monroe piercing?

Answer #1

I am about 99% sure you can’t be paralyzed from a monroe piercing. So, my answer is No.

The only time I heard anything about being paralyzed from a piercing…it was about the cartilage in your ear. Some people say it’s a myth, and some people say it’s possible, but rare…and only lasts for a few hours to a few days. So it isn’t permanent.

No, its a myth. A piercing will not paralyze you. Its important to get them done professionaly though to avoid a higher risk of infection, rejection, and a crooked piercing.

Answer #3

Not true. I’m pretty sure you can only be paralyzed from a tongue piercing because an important vein goes through the middle of your tongue. I have my tongue pierced and i didn’t even worry about getting paralyzed coz i went to an experienced piercer. So don’t worry about it, you’ll be fine
