How does paper beat rock in rock, paper, scissor?

Paper covers the rock, therefore making it harmless. Its just a game. The original was Ching Chong Cha, and in there the form of paper beat rock, so why change the concept?

Well this was no fun, yes it is a game, rock smash scissors, scissors cut paper, and paper covers rock. Got it, I guess after your guidance I won’t screw this game up again. I probably should apologize to the poor chap I threw the rock at too.

its hard to think of cause of all the factors like the rock is it as like a regular rock or like a boulder and is the paper thick and big or like that really thin and small kind. I have to say, based on how the game started in school, it would probably be like a notebook paper sheet and a piece of rock on the floor so if you throw the rock, you could like hold the paper up and it would like stop the rock
