Do pap smears hurt?

Umm I was wondering if pap smears hurt? I probably need to get one cause I need birth control for my periods… yah dont go saying what they do because I know what happens during this… I just need to know if it hurts?

it doesnt hurt just feels very uncomfortable… that is all it lasts all of like 2mins I think..

as ever one else said it does feel uncomfortable…but the best thing to do is try to relax, because the more you tense up the more uncomfortable it will feel!!

The doc will tell you “your going to feel a light cramp”
Thats exactly what it feels like. It is uncomfortable but doesnt hurt,

I’ve never heard of cramping! you can just feel them touch you inside with the swob, which is a little uncoftable. only takes a min’.
