Why do the palms of our hands and the bottom of our feet have different pigmentation than the rest of our body?

Answer #1

Lol ikr

Answer #2

the bottom of your feet and the palms of your hands don’t grow hair like the rest of your body does. Also the ridges that make up your finger/foot prints have a part of it. Both palms and bottom of feet have EXTRA thick skin for the tasks we use them for. pick up things and walking. Those just a few reasons I believe why they are so different from the rest of our body
