Why am I pale when I'm not a vegan?

i’m pale in both summer and winter, I don’t bleed often, and both of my parents have a dark complexion???

Answer #1

You don’t get out in the sun for long enough (or often enough) to get a dark sun tan. .

Answer #2

Simply because you have pale/light skin… just like some people have tan skin or dark skin. It’s just the color of your skin.

Your skin complexion doesn’t have to come from your mom or dad, it can come from your ancestors. Also, just because someone is a vegan… doesn’t mean their skin is light, so I’m not sure what that has to do with it.

Answer #3

Cos if you don’t have certain nutrients in vegetables they can make certain parts of your skin sickly pale……. O.o

Answer #4

I am extremely pale and barely tan and never burn during the summer months. The Doctor told me I was missing a pigment in my skin. Its all good, it means my chances of catching skin cancer are almost nonexistent and I don’t have to spend money on sunblock. : )

Answer #5

Maybe, but it doesn’t change your skin color… if a person with dark skin such as an African American, or a Hispanic person were to become a vegan… they wouldn’t turn light skinned, lol.
