Can you paint shiny metallic zentai suits?

I’m trying to create my own Rei Ayanami cosplay costume and I’m new at this so I need a little help. I’ve chosen to get something like this Zentai Suit http://www.milanoo.com/White-Cream-Shiny-Metallic-Unisex-Zentai-Suit-p1288.html?Promotion=WBG_IT&PID=73669&linkid=0 I was wondering if it’s possible to paint custom designs onto the fabric. Additional details and help would be greatly appreciated. Like, am I going about this in the right way or do you guys have any other suggestions on how I can produce this costume? hi! it seems like you are trying to paint on fabric. so I would suggest using fabric paint. you can get these at any major craft supply store. I love painting on fabrics. just be careful to let the first coat dry before you apply the second. sometimes and overload of paint can ruin the fabric, cause tearing, etc. so just let the first coat dry basically. I hope it turns out good!
