What do I do if my package is sent to the wrong address?

Ok so i ordered a package on ebay and it appears that it was sent to an old adress.. what should i do

Go to the old address and get it, just knock on the peoples door and explain your situation, they should understand and if no one lives there just go to the mail box, grab it and go or go to the post office and tell them you would rather pick up your package instead of having them ship it to your house/ask them to ship it to your new address when it reaches their office instead.

I Dont think i could do that.. the package was sent to my old house from a diff state

Oh:/ then possibly send a letter to your old home adress asking the ship that package to you and you’ll send them the shipping fee?

If you failed to update your address, then there isn’t much you can do - the fault is your own.

If you’re lucky, the new homeowners will have your item sent back, but you should contact the merchant to update your address and notify them of the problem, so they can re-ship your package if it’s returned.
