I started growing them out a few weeks ago but now you can see all the little hairs that are growing back and it looks really bad but I dont want to pluck them again becuase they were way to skinny and looked really stupid before .. do you know how I could grow them faster or anything!??

I know it is sooo hard to let them grow out and get all scragly, but you will be sooo happy you did when they are finally fixed! One thing that I know helps you hair and nails grow is prenatal vitamins. If you do take them though, make sure you take them every day and drink lots of water to flush them out, otherwise it could do more harm than good, especially to your kidneys!

Use an eyebrow pencil [similar colour to your brow hair] to fill in the gaps apply it lightly so it looks natural, this will make your brows appear fuller and you can continue to grow your eyebrows out. For professional advice you could go to a beauty salon.

Happy growing! :)

I plucked my eyebrows for years and finally decided to let them grow out. You might try LiBrow to regrow your eyebrows. It is a little pricey, but it really works!! I have been using it for a couple of months now and can actually see some growth. I am just wondering if they will eventually fill in though. I have been told that messaging your eyebrows with a tooth brush twice a day will stimulate the hair follicles. Hope this helps!!

I have extremely pale ash blonde hair and pale skin. Needless to say, my eyebrows are also very light. The darkest hairs grow in a thin line in the middle of my eyebrow and the rest of my eyebrows platinum. Even if my eyebrows are thick, they do not show up. I discovered Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel on a shopping trip to Ulta. It is a bit pricy, $22 a tube. However, it subtly tints all my lashes and actually makes them show up! There are colors for every brow color. Plus, it is brow powder and brow gel all in one! It tames even my most curly brows into perfect shape.

BUT… I was in the process of growing out my brows from a not so recent salon incident and was finally making progress. The lady who normally does my brows wasn’t at the salon I prefer, so I went to a different salon to have my brows cleaned up. Bad decision. I should have known something was wrong when she told me she was also growing her eyebrows out…yet they were arched in a gawd-awfully unnatural way she, “It’s so hard for me to only wax them once a week!”. My suspicions were right and she took off most of the progress I had made. Upon reading online recommendations of natural ways to encourage eyebrow grow, I came up with my own recipe…

  1. Using an eyebrow comb, ruff up your eyebrows so the products can penetrate every area of your eyebrow.
  2. Grind up a 1000 mcg Biotin pill using a pill grinder or by placing it in a small baggy and smashing it with a rolling pin. Biotin is suggested to encourage hair growth. You can grind up multiple pills at a time to save time for later applications.
  3. Put the ground Biotin in a small PLASTIC dixie-sized cup. Mix the powder with three drops of water. Use a Q-tip to mix the ingredients into a paste.
  4. Using the Q-tip, place equal amounts of the mixture on your eyebrows and the area under where you desire hair grow.
  5. Wait your eyebrows dry. Your eyebrows and the areas around them will become a chalky white color.
  6. Using a Q-tip, liberally smear Castor Oil (found in the laxative section of most drug stores) on your eyebrows and any areas around that are chalky white. Castor oil has long been used to spur hair growth. Not only does it plump each individual hair, making your sparse brows look instantly thick, but it encourages hair growth. The castor oil will remove the white color.
  7. Comb your brows back in place. Do NOT remove the oil.
  8. I also take a 1000 mcg Biotin pill by mouth. I believe this encourages hair grow from the inside while the other steps encourage hair grow from the outside.

It sounds really complicated, but I find if I do steps 1-4 before I do my hair, the heat from my hair dryer aids in step 5. Then steps 6 and 7 can be completed. The oil is fairly light and will soak in quickly. I did this regimen twice a day and in two weeks, my brows looked visibly thicker and new hair growth was very apparent!

my cousin plucked my eyebrows ridiculously 4 years ago. i’ve been trying to grow them every since. now i have a random line in each of my eyebrows and it looks like there’s no hair there. also… i don’t think i could go to a professional to sort them out because i don’t think there is anything to work with to make a shape. what should i do to make my eyebrows thicker, because i think that’s the problem.
