Oscar Goodman out of his mind?
blackpoliticalthought.blogspot.com Oscar Goodman said this to Ciceronianism Barak Obama “What’s a better place, as I say, than for them to come here,” Goodman told KLAS-TV. “And to change their mind and to go someplace else and to cancel - and at the suggestion of the president of the United States - that’s outrageous.”
Yahoo news After Obama said “You can’t get corporate jets, you can’t go take a trip to Las Vegas or go down to the Super Bowl on the taxpayer’s dime,”
I can’t believe it, that is rediculous, no one should ever address his “Maharaja” Obama in such a way.
tseirpeht - your disagreement with President Obama’s decisions are fine and understandable. You did not vote for him. His thoughts and beliefs are different from yours. I would be the same if McCain had won. BUT your insulting “nicknames” and half truths display a hatred and disrespect that surpasses normal political disrespect. Much of what you repeat is drawn from hate-filled rhetoric from hate-filled pundits. Your recent questions have escalated to horrid name calling.
Romans 13:7 and 1 Timothy 2:1-4 teach that governmental leaders are ordained of God and worthy of our respect. Respect is shown not because the person in government is one you voted for, or one whose race matches your own, or with whose public policy you agree, but because they are ordained by God.
Throughout the Old and New Testaments, there are examples of how God uses all types of leaders to bring about his ultimate will.
In reality, striving for an unbiased attitude, equality and justice is essential to a Christian understanding of life, as Peter taught when he wrote “show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king” (I Peter 2:17.)
Jesus NEVER denigrated the civil authorities of his day. In fact, he encouraged his disciples to “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and unto God what is God’s.”
Do you put more value in the opinions of pundits than you do in the Holy Spirit?
Whether he was referring to himself or corporate execs with bailout money matters not - BHO went on a date costing the taxpayer a huge sum of money when there are no nice dining places, shows, in the DC area ? - rhetoric once again not matching actions - lectured execs for doing the same as he - do as I say…not as I do - is he not in the #1 position in the difficult economy times who SHOULD set the example ? - mandatory that he splurge ? - how much economic damage did he do to the Las Vegas economy by what he said ?…words/actions mean things - BHO is very good at spending your money and burying your children in debt (OMB estimate, his current policies will place at least 9.3 TRILLION dollars in debt in 10 years), yet he himself said last week “We are out of money” - not the ‘Change’ I’d hoped for…hope sheeple and fawning media, wake up.
So the will of G-d is for you to call the President of the U.S. “Maharaja” and “holy essence” and the classic “stupefying immenseness”
Wow…what a rude G-d you worship.
I guess you answered my question “Do you put more value in the opinions of pundits than you do in the Holy Spirit?”
And the answer is yes…
Let’s make one thing perfectly clear, I respect and follow the leader of this country even more then you do. I respect the authority of the United States constitution, and according to that constitution I am following its law. That is to speak up when I feel that our country is heading in a direction that shouldn’t be. Obama is just a public servant, and when he wants my respect I will give it to him in accordance with G-d’s will. When there is a conflict between the will of man and the will of G-d I must obey G-d.
What are you asking exactly?
