does the original mac have the same software as the other mac's?

and could i put “final cut pro” on the original mac?

Answer #1

The original Macintosh used the Motorola 68000 family of CPUs. Later they switched to the PowerPC which was a joint project of Apple, Motorola, and IBM and based on the multi-chip CPU in the IBM RS/6000 servers and workstations. Recently Apple switched from PowerPC to Intel While Apple did allow limited backward compatibility through emulation both times they changed CPUs there is no forward compatability.. I.e. applications built for Intel based Macintoshes can not run on either PowerPC or Motorola based Macintoshes.
