Are Online courses 'easier' than actually going to the school?

I been debating whether or not to take on-line courses or not. Considering I can’t drive and disability wants to be an arse every time I try to recommend something, so does anyone think I should start off on-line? and what I’ll be expecting? Thanks ;3

Online I think is more difficult because you don’t gette same social interaction that you do when you’re online. You’re kinda on your own when you’re taking online classes. And it can get lonely. I like having a teacher that’s there to help me with office hours so I can ask question and meet with them when I feel I need the help. You’ll also make new friends.

Answer #2

I agree. I need some more explanation then what online provides lol. Unless your like SUPER smart then its best to have a person teaching you

Answer #3

What about a correspondence university. That way you get the information delivered to your house, but you still usually get the same quality degree as what you’ll get at a full time institution. Online courses can vary, the problem is that you’ll need to do some research to determined whether the course you are doing is accredited and recognised by potential employers if you are considering an online course.

Answer #4

ah ok, yeah I just need to find a way to get around that won’t cost much that I been provided with. Though would also starting a prep college help me out? then moving on to a university? or something similar.

Answer #5

I’ll take that idea, and think about it. I just need to go to college, like more prepared for anything really. As I been told already, I can see on-line courses an independent thing.

Answer #6

I dont know… When I was a senior in high school I was in the running start program which allowed me to go to the community college and be a part time college student. I got high school and college credits simultaneously. It was a good way to prepare myself for college.

Answer #7

Oh I see. My parents want me to be prepared for this fall sign-ups, since I graduated last year, but I had student loans but I still ‘had’ to pay a thousand dollars for 2 years for a community college. So I didn’t necessarily had the money than.

Answer #8

I forgot to mention. Correspondence universities are usually much cheaper than full time universities.

Answer #9

I do online right now, and it’s super easy! Even so, you get the information with enriching homework assignments. My full highschool schedule is two hours a day, PLUS I’m graduating a year early. It’s really a good way to go, and you DO get social interaction with skype conferences with your peers as well as messageboards. Plus, it’s not like you are cut off from your old friendships when you transfer.

Answer #10

I don’t know about easier, but I can bet it is a hell of a lot more comfortable for folks like me who are homebodies.

Answer #11
