What should I do when my Mom hits me?

my mom pisses me off soo bad she hits me im 14 and I realy hv bad temper when she does that I almost want to hit her back or kill my self what should I do

Answer #1

Realize you’re only 14 and do not know it all..realize the right thing to do is respect ( the Bible says ‘honor’ ) your parents..violence by either of you is not acceptable - wrong - sit down and talk with her calmly, like an adult and try to work things out..if you’re unable, I would seek counseling..I wish you both the very best !!

Answer #2

I’d take my shotgun lol no, your mom shoud not b hitting you, or not often.. try talkin to your mom and to a school counselor.

Answer #4

Answer #5

She should not be hitting you. Talk to someone about it. Maybe a therapist, doctor, a counselor.

Answer #6

Try getting a mediator, such a family therapist, to meet with you and your family to work out whatever problems. If she’s hitting/physically abusing you to a severe degree, DCF should become involved but it’s important for a third party professional to assess things. Your school is a good starting place but I think you should talk with your mother first–if you fear something bad will happen, don’t hesitate to go to any authority figure, that’s what they’re in place for. Good luck. -S
