Why am I so obsessed with piercings?

I have had both my ears pierced twice and I will be getting my belly button pierced in about one week. I seem to want alot of piercings like tongue, nose stud, lip, cartilage and just a couple more. I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with having piercings but it would be nice to just understand why I am so obsessed. I also don’t know if most of the piercings I want would even suit me. How would I also know if the piercings I want would suit me?

Its actually quite normal. Alot of people who get pierced and tattooed find them addictive in a sense. I myself have 8 piercings and 9 tattoos and am always planning my next ones. I find them addictive because of the look, the rush that the pain gives, the sound of a tattoo gun, and because its an easy way to change your look. Piercings are also not permanant and can easily be taken out and closed up so its convienant. As for knowing what piercings will suit you, they sell magnetic body jewelry. Buy a stud and a hoop and you can place it on whereever your thinking of getting pierced to see what it would look like.

I think it’s perfectly normal. I have my lip pierced and Iove piercings on guys. If I could get more piercings I would in a heart beat but my mom won’t let me right now.. It’s the look and It probably expresses what kind of crowd you’re in :) I think they look cool & idk I just love the look of ppl with piercings.
