The same reasons I’m obsessed with the things that interest me most, such as evolution, entomology, and the vast study of psychology and it’s many mental illnesses accompanying it. There’s people out there to obsess over everything around us, it’s one of the things that promotes such diversity in our lives. Differences are fantastic. You probably see sides to things that not everyone else does, which is also a fantastic thing. It’s always best to look beyond the exterior of reality.

Sri, if there’s anything that’s clear about humans, it’s that G!d made us with an insatiable curiosity! Nothing wrong with that. You might find that learning about human history changes your understanding of things, even of religion, but that doesn’t mean it has to shake your faith in G!d. Even without studying history, one’s spiritual understanding should always be growing! Imho.
