Is NSAID the same thing as aspirin?

Answer #1

No, there are about 8 Different types of NSAIDs each one categorised on their method of chemical interactions in our body or the main component of the drug each one varies in effectiveness depending on the problem, While Aspirin does tackle a wider range of ailments than most NSAIDs it will not work as well as, specifically applied medication. an example would be this : Aspirin is great with headaches but with Joint inflammation caused by Arthritis it comes in near last, a more effective drug would be Ketoprofen (another NSAID) which effectively stop the creation of Prostaglandin from the inflammed cells (Prostaglandin in this situation causes the pain from the damaged tissue and furthers the growth of the inflammation)
