If you haven’t already got them, check out some of these games:

Canis Canem Edit (AKA Bully) Brave: Search For Spirit Dancer Dog’s Life Thrillville Dragon Quest: Journey Of The Cursed King The Simpsons Game Tak And The Power Of Juju Dark Cloud Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary Lara Croft Tomb Raider Legends Tomb Raider: Angel Of Darkness Charlie And The Chocolate Factory

I can’t think of any more ones at the moment. Some of these may not sound that great, but check them out. You might just find the game of your dreams! =o)

its expensive as hell, but if your a serious gamer like me its worth it. you’ll easily drop over 500 bucks on the basics

they are both good, I dont fully understand why they had to go and make another play station… as if 2 wasnt enough. whoever makes a 4th im going to slap them silly

now on with your question

I think th eps3 is pretty coool. but they only things you do different is spend more money for the same thing. ytou can put pictures adn music on there. adn the graphics arent even as good as they say, so I would buy the ps2 less money, for pretty much the same thing, may not be as shiney

but I hope this helps, tell me if it does please! =]

PS2 was a good console because it proved to be a multipurpose device. You could watch DVDs and play CDs as well as play any of the numerous games out for the PS2 (as well as PS1). The only problem is, as with all things “old”, they stop creating things for it, so in a few years you’ll find that you won’t be able to get your hands on anything new or good for the PS2 system.

I myself switched over to the 40GB PS3 and have been fairly pleased with it. It’s also multipurpose, playing DVD, BluRay, and CDs. The only problem you’ll run into with it is that it’s not back-compatible, so all of your PS1 and PS2 games will be no good. Of course, the PS3 has really great titles put now as opposed to when I got mine (there were like, 3 games out), so back-compatibility may be low on your list of priorities. It should be something you think about though if you’re planning to buy a PS2 game and then turn around and buy a PS3.

The 40GB PS3 will run you about $399, with (usually) a game (but mine came with a bluray movie… SpiderMan 2) and the necessary cables and controller. If you’re an online gamer, you’ll find it worth it to get an ethernet cable or the wireless PS3 adapter so you can log in to your broadband network and sign yourself into the PS3 Network.

All-in-all, if you’re looking for more bang for your buck, I’m saying you should save up for the PS3. It provides all the basics (minus back compatibility) and puts you up to date with next gen technology.
