Nose piercing bump.

I got my nose pierced almost a year ago. About a week after the screw got pulled out and I couldnt get it back in so I put an earring in it and got some straight post nose rings with the ball on the end which really tore up the inside I think. Just a few months ago I went back to the piercer to get a screw put back in but it had grown back while she was fixing it so she had to re-pierce it. Now right beside the stud by the piercing I have a little pink hard bump and I can’t get it to go away.

Anyone know what it is or how to get rid of it?

I had the same thing, it’s a keloid and it’s very common when you get your nose pierced…I got rid of mine with 1-2 sea salt soaks a day…get some hot water put sea salt in it like you can get at the market and put the mixture on a cotton ball or paper towel and hold on the bump for up to 10 minutes…When I did this the bump disappeared in 3 days! good luck!! :)

You might have to get it lanced. I had to get that done with my belly ring. its either that or scar tissue. Either go back to the piercer and ask if it needs to be lanced or give it time. Hope everything works out for ya!
