I must agree with Kahili’s answer, that if you have had sex for the first time that involved penetration, you have most likely “broken” your hymen. This can cause bleeding for a few days, but should stop.

I must also add that the fact that you are bleeding, can cause you to have the sensation of wanting to urinate more often. Women sometimes experience this during menstration. But, if in fact you “are” urinating considerably more, that is a different story.

Now that you have become sexually active, you can be more prone to urinary infections.

If the bleeding or the increased urination continues for more than a few days. See your doctor.

If it goes away on its own…..wonderful, but still consider seeing someone in the near future. Planned parenthood centers are an option as well.
