Non-stop vomiting

Ok, So I have a 1 1/2 year old dog.. She is a black lad boarder collie and she has been getting sick(throwing up) for the last three days now… At least twice a day… Its almost like she can’t keep anything down… She was eating cat food so I put it up because I know that cat food is not good for dogs at all. Does anyone have any suggestions other than take her to a vet… I know I have to do that… But I cant do it for another 9 days… Please help… I am very worried about her

Answer #1

take her outside and allow her to eat grass…animals ushually do this instinctively…which will cause vomiting but it will clean out her stomach from whatever it is thats hurting her…perhaps she already ate grass in which case dont worry the vomiting will stop as soon as her body is shure the virus is gone. keep her hydrated …thats very important good luck -v-

Answer #2

You could try calling a vet and explain whats going on and maby they can tell you some possible over the counter things you can do for her. But most likely they are going to tell you to bring her in to be seen.

Answer #3

Try putting her on a bland diet…white rice with hamburger (boil them together…you can use Minute Rice)…

Does she have diarreah, along with the upset stomach? If so, Immodium will calm the digestive track.

Now, let me say this…If I were you, I’d be calling my Vets…tell them you don’t get paid for 9 days, but this is an emergency (if your Vet won’t let her in, then start calling around)…and get her in right away…she could either have gotten something toxic and ate it…or she may have an obstruction…they are both EMERGENCIES.

Answer #4

she could have been allergic to something she ate…

at any rate, if she’s throwing up, you need to make sure she’s not dehydrated. that could be fatal quick. try to get her to drink fluids, and when our dogs are sick we give them rice and boiled chicking in lil bits. hope it works out for you !!
