Is pork bad for dogs, and does bacon count?

Is pork bad for dogs, and does bacon count? Why should I “ FIX” my man dog and does soy chocolate kill canines.

You should neuter your dog because he will be happier, healthier and will live a longer life.

Answer #2

A tiny treat on a holiday, or something isn’t going to hurt your dog…A diet made up of many treats, tho…causes obesity, and the bad health that goes with being fat. Bacon is high in salt…and lots of fat…it isn’t even good for people.

Dog food, dog food dog food, listen to twilight, talk to your vet and they will tell you all about table food, Yes pork is bad, ham, nuts, raisains, chocolate, and the list goes on and on. Stick with dog food, you and the dog will both be happy, the dog won’t beg and you won’t have to worry about a huge vet bill

Answer #4

Our vet says dogs shouldn’t get “people” food period. It isn’t made for their digestive tracts and causes obesity. As for pork, when I was growing up we were told not to give our chihuahua any type of pork as they’re not able to digest it properly. Ask your vet would be my best advice regarding that and the soy chocolate. Why take chances right?
