What if no one appreciates the work to play guitar?

I learned how to play One by Metallica on my guitar, the entier thing, not just riff (that inclodes the darkness riff) but yet my friends arn’t impressed by it, even tho it only took me just only 2 months to learn, and sync it, and yet they don’t find much in it, which annoys me, so anyone else stricken by something like that, and if you have, just leave a little story, not just saying “Yeah” because I’m not too happy atm due to other problems. -also correct some of the spelling mistakes I made if you want to be a nice person

Answer #1

wow not to bag on you bro but 2 months to learn one full song… it takes me about half an hour to learn a song and another half hour to perfect it…

try bplaying something other then Metallica, maybe that’s the reason why they weren’t impressed

play some classics, some oldies…something cool…not metallica

~appreciate ~includes

and I’m super impressed! I suck at guitar… and your friends will be impressed when your a famous rockstar.

Answer #3

all you need to do is to get everyone drunk, even yourself. they will stare at amazement if you even manage to play a single note

but seriously, some people just aren’t impressed any more by that sort of stuff. I’m lucky because I know so many people who play guitar so we all accept that we are all talented. if people don’t appreciate the time and effort you put in then just dont bother doing ti for them. just do it for yourself

I play guitar man. learn the brdge and solo to one, or any other part. play more than just the clean notes at the beginning. show them who is badass!

I’ve only been playing for 10 months, but I feel only little confident in what I do.

You know w Joe Satriani has a couple videos out where he gives lessons, he’s an awesome guitar player, I could’nt imagine anyone not liking guitar, don’t worry you keep practicing if your friends don’t like it, tell them to take a hike, its what you like not them, they don;t count.

Answer #8

AHH did you see the South Park about guitar hero?? Stan’s dad tries to impress the kids by playing them a song on guitar, but they think he’s a loser because he doesn’t play guitar hero, and it’s basicly making fun of guitar hero and how people think being good at a stupid video game is some kind of acheivement. I appreciate you!! I’m not musically gifted myself..so I am impressed.

Answer #15

Lol, guitar Queero is my favorite ebisode. I love the ending “Congradulations you broke 1,000,000 points- YOU- ARE- FAGS!” that is funny. I also play guitar hero, it is easier to play it on real guitar then on there (ignor the fact I have beaten it on expert). -Also thank you for the corrections
