NO MORE FIELD TRIPS:(

My school has banned all field trips because of the economy:( Is there anything that we(the students) could possibly do to get them back? Any advice is great! Thank you.

They baned any fundraising related to field trips so thats out of the question.

Petition the community and give the signed petition to your principal. Aim for 1000 or so signatures. Or at least 3 times the size of the student body, that would send a message. Also, in the petition state the reasons you feel the student body would benefit from field trips, the places you would like to go on these trips, and ways to raise money for the field trips. Be realistic in your claims on all parts. Maybe ask your parents to help you or a teacher that feels the same way. Have all the teachers sign the petition as well. You can make a petition online at PetitionOnline.com that way then you can have more of a wide spread of people sign your petition. Good luck.
