No blooms on my impatiens

My impatients do not have blooms. I fertilize and prune them. any help?

Answer #1

when you water them put the water hose in the dirt and for a little bit so they goot a good amount of water. Plants drink more then you would think.

Answer #2

Pruning them? Don’t do that, you may be cutting off all the buds. You dont need to cut back impatiens till they get leggy in the late summer. They need plenty of water and plenty of shade. If you fertilize, do it every 2 weeks with fertilizer especially for blooming annuals (make sure the middle number is high) eg. don;t use a lawn fertilizer.

Good luck!
