Talk to some one about it if you are concerned which it sounds like you are .talk to a counsler becuase it does seem like you have some unsolved issues .Tell your parents and they can help you get a counsler and all.but if you are to unconfortable to talk to your parents about it talk to school counsler just tell the teacher you want to talk to the counsler and he or she will hook you up!! hope this helped

I think that you might be scared. there might be some unsolved issues inside of you that you need to figure out. like maybe your sister is secretly depressed. I would ask her, but not be all like “hey are you depressed?” but like be careful and gentle. make sure to include that u’ll be there for her. BEST OF LUCK.

Whenever someone goes through some sort of truamatic experience, it tends to have an impact, especially if you never dealt with it. Just because he hasnt tried to hurt you in a while, doesnt mean you actually dealt with the thoughts, feelings etc of when he did, or when your sister did. Nightmares are a way of the brain telling us that there’s something going on, and to pay attention to it. Perhaps you should consider counseling too. Just to deal with what seems to be a prettty chaotic environment.
