Hi. I am a 40 year old male and have been married once. I was only married for a year bc my wife expected something diff. Of marriage. Anyhow, I have dated many many women. I always had a certain perfect women conjured in my mind. The new girl I met has all the physical qaualities, mental acuity, and other qualities all in one, that I so love. the issue is I am living with a girl and she has a child. I don’t know what to do bc I love my girlfriend and her daughter. But, I know the new girl is text book perfect for me. She is my dream girl. I don’t like to hurt or be hurt and am going crazy. Yes, I would miss my girlfriend and things we did but I don’t want to lose the new girl. This new girl feels the same about me,

Far be it for me to say that it would be wrong of you to follow your heart, but I know what it feels like to find your kindred spirit, and if you’re absolutely sure that this girl is your soul mate, then you’d only live your life in regret if you let her go.

As hard as it is, you have to live your life for yourself, not for everyone else.

I speak from experience - I followed my heart and I have never regretted it.
