Nervous much?

In english class, my teacher read my paper aloud without me having any knowledge that she was going to do it, and once I realized it was my paper I got sweaty and my heart was racing. I have never had these kind of nerves before. I have been in front of thousands of people and danced, given speeches, and other such things and I’ve never felt like this. So why did this happen when somebody else read my work aloud? I can’t figure this out for the life of me…

Answer #1

well, the surprise might of done it. I mean that is kind of wronngg. plus the fact that it was your work you know? coming out of someone elses mouth might seem more embarrassing, if that makes any sensee.

Answer #2

it was probably the fact that you weren’t prepared for it. it came by surpirse and “startled” you. if he had told you (which he should have done) it most likely wouldn’t have affected you that way.

Answer #3

well maybe its because your work comes from u. so in a way its personal. and honestly if anyone hears it aloud it shood come from your mouth. he shouldnt have done that.
