Need help tongue piercing

Thank you all for your help and advice I was told to take ibprofen every 4 hours to help with the swelling as well and it feels a little better but now I see like white stringy stuff on the top of my tongue not sure what it is anyone have any ideas???

I don’t think it’s infected. Just suck on a lot of ice, slushies, freezing cold water. Or buy some ‘Colgate Peroxyl Antiseptic Oral Cleanser’ it works wonders !

I dont think you have an infection. I have had my tounge pierced since april 27 2008 and I thought I was gunna die after I got it done and I thought I would of had to taken it out but its just the suffering you have to do for it. it will go down the swelling and you will be able to eat again. and once you get use to it you will never remember how you ate before you had it. just suck on ice cubes thats what I did, but do not chew them it can cause problems. and make sure you use your mouth wash every time you eat or smoke or anything. but you should be fine and those bumps will go away in time. you just have to give it time

lol I peirced my own toung twice first time got a really bad infection it was swollen so bad I couldent close my mouth lol now its cool

go to the tattoo/piercing shop you got it done at, have them take a look at it, they are professionals.

Don’t Take It Out unless your really sure it’s infected. I got mine pierced in January and the same things happened to me… after about 2 weeks you’ll start to love it. ;)
