Need Advise About Work
I work w/ special needs kids that are abusive. A 5yr old caused me to get a stress fracture in May that is still healing. I also just had foot surgery and have 1 plate and 4 pins holding the main bone in place. I am afraid to return to work as the kids like to kick you when you’re down. Subbing does not pay enough and I need something comparible to $1500 a month w/ holidays, spring break, and summers off so I can be with our kiddo. I’m not sure if I would be able to switch positions but will look to it on Monday, maybe they can make an exception.? Any suggestions for a job w/ this criteria? I am going to school to be a teacher so I love working with kids. Thanks! j_walden2006@yahoo.com
Try looking at your local school districts that need instructional aides in the lower grade levels. Your expereince should prove where there. Refrain from speaking about your injuries/previous experience in your other position.
