Should I still get my naval piercing if I am sick?

so like i wouldn’t get an infection on my belly button if i washed my hands and cleaned it properly ?

No, if it’s cleaned right and everything you use, including your hands, is clean, there is no problem.

I know your really looking forward to getting the piercing, but I suggest you rebook until you clear it up. (small story about a friend)

My best friend got an appointment for her naval to be piecered, she was all great, all happy and dandy.

Went to have it done, she was a nervous wreck, (not to scare you but apparently it hurts at first), and my best friend isn’t the weak type. She had the piercing, afterwards was just plain weak, it was like she went through shock or something. The same happened to my step-sister also.

Just keep a bottle of water with you just in case. I know I sound really stupid and because I haven’t had one myself (if I did I wouldn’t be alive because of parents), I just suggest you take caution and just wait patiently. Having your belly button done is an annoying thing to look after.

After having it done though, which hopefully you will make sure you do look after it and I know its hard but be careful when you are in bed. There are so many issues to look after when having a belly button pierced I just beg you to take caution. Don’t want you to get an infection when its something you really want :-)
