Natural Red Hair!!! Need Help!!!

okay, so my hair is naturally red, and I dyed it with light brown and I dont think it was permanent. but I want to know a good color to dye it, b.c it went back!!! HELP!!!

Red hair is lovely, but sometimes it’s fun to experiment too.

Unfortunately red hair doesn’t take dyes very well. It’s just something about the pigmentation. Semi-permanents don’t work for more than a few days. If you really want to dye it you’ll have to bleach it first to get the dye to take.

A word of warning though. This process weakens the hair and is not sustainable in the long run. I hope you don’t mind a short hairstyle when you decide to grow your hair back out again.

honestly your hair wont look good in anycolor besides red due to your fair skin , and red hair is beautiful embrasse it (:

I dyed my hair red the other day, and if you die it really dark brown; it’ll fade a little. but if you go and get it died again about 8 weeks later it will; eventually stay that color for a longer amount of time :D

people with natrualy red hair should dye it black and color your eybrows so no one sees it
