How do I become a natural early riser?

i am a late raiser and it affects me in a negative way..i am always late for school, i lost my job has of my bad habit..how do i naturally wake up early like many ppl?

One of the reasons you are not an early riser is possibly because you are still an adolescent. When your brain is fully mature, you’re more likely to be an early riser. In the meantime, going to bed early and making sure your room gets early morning sun can help, and hopefully it will get easier the more you do it.

I am always up naturaly before 6am but most people i know have to use Alarm clocks to get up so early..along side a sence of resposability, respect and being a decent person makes them be on time for there job.

Go to bed early, and you’ll wake up early. Well it works for me. I usually start to feel tired around 5 ish but I won’t lay down until around 7:30 8 ish 9 at the latest. And I’d wake up around between 3 and 4 in the morning. But that’s when I was only a sleeping schedule trying to get back on it so I’m not so tired and ready to take a 4 he nap in the middle of the day. :3

Well, if I keep waking up everyday at like exactly 5:00, I start waking up at 5 without an alarm. It’s just as though I adjusted my mental clock in a 5 am alarm or something.. I just wake up. Maybe u should try waking up at a fixed time as soon as u hear the alarm go off. :)

I agree here. I have noticed as I left my teens and moved into my 20’s that I naturally wake up earlier. I don’t know if its strictly because of age (I do know during adolescent years your body wants LOTS of sleep, second only to when you are a baby) or if all the years of going to be around 10 and getting up around 6:30-7am for school, then work, have got me programmed that way :P.

But even on my days off I still wake up on my own around 8-9am. If I sleep until 9:30 I have “slept in”. I never considered myself an early riser tho.

I cant sleep past 9-10 am… I used to be able to sleep till 12-1 pm lol so i will have to agree with Danielle

Answer #7

Its actually a weird brain development thing. Not sure why, but its kind of a pain when you’re still expected to be functioning in the morning!
