Does anyone know any native American mythological Godesses?

My friend Ema drew a photo and she wants to know if their are any Godesses in tht culture. If no-one knows, then can anyone tell me some in the African-American Culture?

hi alex, don’t know if you ever check back on old questions, but just wanted you to know that i think that website you were referred to is way off base. to my knowledge there are no native american “goddessess.” there are, however, numerous legends passed down thru the ages of powerful medicine women, such as grandmother spider, and mother turtle (because the ancient belief was that the earth rested on the back of a turtle. I don’t claim to know everything about it but i do know some, I was the matriarch and scribe of the Two Rivers tribe (in creek…verrakko hokkolen) in Florida for a few years and i studied under the medicine man Big Dancer, who used to be chief of the Muskogee Nation.
