Nachos?

I was watching step brothers and I was wndering if you heat up reagular cheedar cheese if it tastes good because will ferrel was eating it in the movie?

If you heat up cheddar, you’ll end up with gooey cheese on your nachos…for about 15 seconds. As soon as it hits the air and begins to cool, cheddar forms up into a hard, greasy, rubbery mess.

If you want creamy nacho cheese, Cheez-Whiz-style cheese, you need to make a bechamel sauce, which is traditionally a white roux (butter and flour) with scalded milk added. Once the bechamel is ready, you can add pretty much any cheese you like and it will stay melty. It takes about 5 minutes to make, is incredibly easy, and tastes far and away better than anything out of a jar.
