My wild kitten

About 2 month ago I caught a wild kitten, it was so skinny and scared I felt so sorry for the poor lil thing he was tiny. I kept him here for about 2 weeks before mum said I had to find him a home by this time he was as tame as a kitten could be and was the sweetest lil kitty ever! My nana desided shes look after him for me until my partner and I get a place of our own, she had him for about a month or so and then without telling me to him to the spca and told them he was just a stray! Mum had to tell me what nana had done and it broke my heart I’ve been crying over it for about 4 days now and have been in touch with the spca many times, but now its going to costs me $135 to get him back. Now the problem is I am going away in a month, I am gone for three weeks and my partner is house sitting my mums house. My kitten isnt allowerd at mums house, so it will be living with my partner. So he wont even be with it for three weeks.

I dont know what to do, is $135 to much to spend on a kitten??? Should I just leave him and hope he gets adopted??? Please help me

I hope you went and got him. A bond between a person and an animal is an utterly priceless thing. I’m probably a lot older than most folks who ever post here - just stumbled upon this board while looking for something else even - but bottom line why I mention the age thing - Older often means a bit more and/or more stable income and all that - Last year I spent about the price of three new cars on my cat. She had some enormous health problems and I even had her to far away states for treatment. Every little bit of progress, every day she had any happiness in it, every day I got to hug her and hold her and tell her how much I love her, every bit of it was utterly, totally, and completely worth it. I was prepared to spend any and everything I could get my hands on for her and when that ran out (which was getting rather close actually) I was fully prepared to spend other people’s money, mortgage the house again, whatever it would take. She was worth everything. I’d do it again in a second if she was still on this earth and in need. No, as another poster said, “Love has no pricetag.”

Love has no price tag on it. You family pulled a dirty trick on you, very unfair.

The price to get your kitten back is worth any price you want to pay to have something you love safe with you. But this kittens life is in your hands, don’t trust others with someone or something you love

that is a sad story but I think you should buy him because cats cost 4 times as much as that same with kittens so you got a pretty sweet deal also take him on the trip with you.

Well you should wait for a little while then if it doesnt get adopted and you love him a lot you should buy him
