My period is being dumb.. Help.

So, I havent gotten my period, yeh the typical thing around here.

I had sex on february 13th, yes I used a condom, nothing broke and he didnt even cum. I had my period february 15th and that lasted 7 days like it typically does. Recently I’ve had sex on march 16th and I used protection as well, and once again he didnt cum. Obviously theres no way for me to be pregnant, but recently I’ve been getting this brown discharge, its not a lot but its a dark brown and when I whip myself it comes out int he toilet paper and alittle on my panties what could this be?

Answer #2

actually yes, you could be pregnant weather you have unprotected sex or protected sex, theres alweays a chance of pregnancy the only things thats 100% effective is not having sex condoms if used correctly are only 98% effective and there are things that make them less effective/not work if the condom broke if it had a small hole/rip/tear in it if it was sitting in the sun/a wallet for too long if you use two of them at the same time if it was past its expirey date also there is semen is pre cum which is released every now and then before ejaculation neither him or you will notice it comming out and it can get you pregnant so there is a possibility of pregnancy youll need to take a pregnancy test to find out if you are or not (3-4 weeks after sex, any sooner and the results wont be accurate) or see a doctor for a blood test and LEARN about sex before you have it learn about a male and female reproductive system as well as birth control, contraception, pregnancy and sti/stds as for the brown stuff, it sounds like old blood left over from your period or that hasnbt come yet when blood is old it turns brown

I am a virgin and I had the same thing happen. My periods are always on time and fairly heavy, but a few months ago, all I had was brown discharge in place of my period. The brown stuff is usually just older blood and tissue that accumulate in the uterus. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you are pregnant. But if your periods continue to be irregular or disappear altogether, I would talk to a doctor. Keep in mind that there are other symptoms of pregnancy besides missed periods, so be attentive.

Best of luck!

Answer #4

For me sometimes my period is brown or red-violet. The reason it is brown could be that if you use tampons and not pads the blood and blood colts could be gathered up and is now coming out.

Answer #5

I do not use tampons, and its just a dark brown discharge not enough to be in account as a period.

Answer #6

That’s what I had. I only use pads, and I only had some dark brown discharge. Maybe talking to a doctor is best, just to be sure :)

Answer #7

Look. She is being honest and trying to help, respect that.

Sometimes there are faults in condoms, it may have had a small hole and most guys keep condoms in their wallets, which is very unsafe. I

I’ve also had the same brown discharge, but I was pregnant. Then I also had it when I was on depo provera inj. (birth control)

If you had sex there is a chance, just go out get a cheap test, @ Rite Aid they are like $10. It will probably come your nerves.

Please don’t disrespect someone trying to help. I do admit though, it could have been said a little nicer, but she’s just giving you the facts.
