The only way you could get worms from her is if you took one of the living sections of worms off her but and eat it.

Other than that, she can’t get worms from fleas.

Just get her some flea shampoo hun or take her to the vet to give her meds. (well if she has worms lol - they had to do that with my cat)

“Other than that, she can’t get worms from fleas.”

Actually, the tapeworm is ingested by the animal eating the fleas. The chances of you catching it, however, are slim, unless (as stated above) you ingest a section of the tapeworm that leaves the cat’s anus.

How old is your cat? If it’s less than 6 months old, you’ll have to use a flea comb, because treatments are too strong for her. If it’s an adult cat, see your vet about something called Revolution or Advantage flea treatments.

You won’t get worms from her. But it’s very important that you get some flea treatment for her, having flea’s can be very bad for her health and cause her a lot of discomfort.

There are dry(powder) shampoo’s if she won’t let you wash her, there are ordinary shampoo’s if she will, or if you take her to the vet, the best treatment is one like “spot on” where you just put a drop of liquide on the back of her neck and that will get rid of all her fleas, but check with a vet before useing that one, specially if she is still a kitten because it’s quite strong:)
