How to care for a baby?

ok so my girlfreind just had our baby boy and we want to take it home and take care of it do you have any advice on how to take care of a baby?

Answer #1

The best thing you can do would be to listen to your baby. When he cries don’t over analyze, just react. Ask someone that had a baby to help you out the first couple of days or even weeks (like your parents). Try to remember that the more stressed out you get the more your baby will cry. Babies cry because they are hungry, cold, hot, tired, need to burp, need diaper changed, scared & startled, and stressed because his parents are fighting or stressed out (they really can tell). When he cries make sure his diaper is dry and he’s not hungry. After that just try different ways of holding him or a different place to lay down (they do get bored). You’ll figure it out, don’t worry so much he’s just like you only little.

Keep his bum dry, keep his belly full (burp him after feeding so he doesn’t get a belly ache) keep him warm and love him. And make sure he gets plenty of sleep but most of all make him feel safe and secure and protected. Not just now as a baby but for his whole life.

So you’re 15, and you just had a baby with your girlfriend?

Considering your age, shouldn’t your parents be around to help? You’re not even old enough to be on your own.

… you have a baby and dont know how to care for it. … I dont know what to say, except that you had NINE MONTHS to prepare.

THERE ARE SO MANY BABY BOOKS OUT THERE!!! WHY DIDNT YOU PICK ONE UP!?!?!

I suggest you do that, and I suggest that you ask your parents and anyone else you know who has, or has had children.

Since babies have skin that is so sensitive, they often develop different skin conditions. You may not know what these conditions are or how to treat them. So, it is very important to use natural products on baby’s skin.
