My dog is Nesting?

I have a 3 year old full breed german shephard. She is an indoor dog. and she isn’t fixed.

My dog has NOT had her period and she is NOT pregnant. but when I come home she has every pillow in the house on my bed and in a circle (she lays there). What is going on?

I think what Harley is telling you…is that IF you are not planning on breeding her, then her chances of getting breast cancer go WAY down if you have her spayed. It is not normal that she has never been in heat. That in itself would have me taking her in and getting her fixed…something is wrong.

she shoud have had a heat as early as 6 months old and then about every 6 months after that, Has she seen a vet? are you planning on breeding her/ if not I would get her spayed. She is nesting because of instinct

We had a 12 yr old female not spayed come into work tonight with mammory cancer.
