Is my dog going blind?

I DON’T KNOW IF MY DOG IS GOING BLIND. SHE KEEPS IN BLINKING HER RIGHT EYE. IS THAT A SIGN SHE’S GOING BLIND?

Answer #1

She might just have something in that eye that’s irritating it (small piece of sand or other object)….you could try washing out the eye (water) to see if that helps….if it persists, see the Vet….may just need medicine for it.

Good Luck and God Bless !!

Answer #2

Maybe her eye just hurts in a way. I don’t see why a dog would blink when she’s blind. Try looking in her eye, and see if it’s a lighter color. That’s usually a way to tell if she’s blind.

Answer #3

if she starts walking into things then you know that she is

Answer #4

this same signes of blindess dog : slowing down through the house and yard, smelling more with nose pointed outwards, stumbling at a step the dog used to not have problems with, scared when senses something is near face tries to swivel to see it but gets aggitated because they cant Every dog is different some barely will even show any symptoms and there are so many things that cause blindness as to why they would show different symptoms best thing would be to get dog seen as there is even sun blindness in pups where they cant see if the lights hits wrong.
