My dad

So me and my dad are not close he left my life when I was 3 left came back when I was 8 left and came back now when I am 14 and its hard because he has a whole new family and 2 neew kids and a b*y wife she dont let him talk to me and I am his only kid besides the two I mentioned but I don’t know how to explain to him I want him in my life I need him in my life and I dont trust him he says he is gonna stay in my life but I feel he is just gonna leave me just like the other times. And my mom just recently passed away 3 months ago her phyco ( I dont know how to spell it ) boyfriend shot her intha head. So I need someone in my life and I feel I need him how do I explain to him not to leave me hangin. I live with my grandma And my life is he it is complicated and hard.

OK see im the same way with my dad. we dont talk and he has never been there for me, so what I did is stopped talking to him and moved on. it still bothers me to this day, that hes not there, but I was better off without him.
