Will my Chihuahua get bigger?

Create a schedule to take him out. Also take him out shortly after he eats,after he plays and before bed. I did it with my puppy and it made life so much easier. If he does mess in the house, try to avoid loud shouting or anything physical. If you catch him in the act stop him immediately and bring him to where he is supposed to go. Letting him sniff around and giving them time well help. About how big he gets, He may not get any bigger than that unless he’s fed like a person!!LOL Hope the advises is helpful

I don’t think he’ll get much bigger either…

To house train a dog, you have to completely COMMIT to watching him every minute (even if you have to hook his leash to your belt loop)…crating him when you aren’t home to watch him will help tremendously, also.

So give yourself “THE TALK”…that you aren’t going to get lost in TV, or computer games, or even talking on phone until the pup is house broke…it doesn’t take very long once you make the commitment.

Small dogs usually stop growing height wise at about 8/10 months I think? Elaborate on the potty training part (we had ours trained in a week… 6 months seems a long time for him not to be trained)
