I have never honestly heard of Lupe Fiasco and I want to know who this singer is so I can impress a girl. Who is Lupe and what type of music does he/she sing?

Reading through his site, his bio is kind of interesting, born the youngest of nine siblings (nine! that's crazy) his mom was a gourmet chef & dad was an accomplished drummer. Odds are, he got his interest in music from his dad then, since he's also a musician. Could be good stuff.
