MovieTickets

me and my cousins want to go see SAW5. but we dont have an adult to buy the tickets for us., wer all under 18 except for my oldest cousin shes is 18, could she buy us the tickets for us? or could we have an adult buy it for us and go in with out them

Answer #1

some theaters will allow the one of age to buy the tickets but others don’t. They’ll ID everyone that is trying to get in. My friend and I had her dad buy us tickets and he bought a ticket for another movie and he went in the other one and we went in the rated are one. That works some times. Your best bet is to just be patient and wait for it to come out on DVD and either rent it or buy it and watch it at home.

The reason those movies are restricted is because they don’t want anyone under the age of 18 viewing them in the theatre.

Most restricted movies have ticket counters that will ID, and don’t allow to have the tickets purchased in advance.

Even if they did allow advance purchase, they could still ID you at the door and you’d be out the price of admission, since it’s usually non-refundable.

Wait until it comes out on dvd and watch it at home, where there are no restrictions.
